I built this house with the intentions of living there, but work dictated that I move back to Georgia. The house is owned free and clear. What I am looking to do is simply exchange for a home in Georgia that I can sell, not live in. The problem with trying to currently sell in CR is that within the last year, banks really froze up lines of credit, and now buyers who actually are able to obtain loans, must pay 13% interests on their mortgages if financed through a local bank. Couple that with no MLS down there, and it makes for a tougher sell at this point. Thus, I am looking to exhange for a house in Georgia; one that I can monitor and put in to an MLS and at least know that an MLS will put eyeballs in front of the house as well as the buyer actually being able to qualify as a possibility.
