Step by step instructions to submit a listing

1. Register > Login > My account > New listing

2. Fill in the form paying attention the required fields and click submit

3. IF FREE LISTING with BASIC PLAN: Choose BASIC plan (free and includes a one year listing with one image), then press Submit  > and once again on the next page.

4. IF PAID or PROMOTIONAL LISTING: enter promo code below the plans, then press submit. The next page will show the summary of charges (if nay), if payment is due, proceed to PayPal.com to pay with a major credit card.

To check listing status or If for some reason the listing did not get activated, go to My Account > Edit listing >Activate/Renew/Upgrade Image Plan, then follow step 3 or 4 above. 

UPDATE: Some of our members with older accounts may no longer see the link to add/edit images from Edit Listing menu under My Account. To resolve this please click on My Account > Edit Listing > Activate/Renew/Upgrade Image Plan > then choose a new plan to reflect the number of images desired.

Following these simple steps will cost nothing and greatly improve your listing search ranking and will ultimately produce more swap proposals.

1. Use descriptive listing title

Title is what most visitors see when browsing ads. Listing title is also what search engine uses to rank your listing. We have some listings titled "House" or even "Mr" and poster did not even include a picture. What are the chances someone is going to click on this listing? Slim.

2. Pictures are a must

Pictures attract and inspire viewers and up to 15 pics included FREE even with the free listing. Yet many posters neglect to include even one property image.

3. Details, details, details

Describe your property and what you are looking to swap it for. The logic is simple if you did not include a good description, many potential buyers will skip your listing. Lengthy property description also helps your listing to appear higher in the search results and search engines. Be as specific as you can and use keywords that specify your neighborhood, local attractions, etc.
