The same simple idea, two decades on
GoSwap started in 2006 with a belief that hasn't changed: you shouldn't have to turn what you own into cash just to turn it into something else. Long before “matching algorithms” were a thing, we were connecting people who each had what the other one wanted.
What has changed is how we do it. Today, advanced matching algorithms read both sides of every listing — what you have and what you want — and compare them against what every other member has and wants. A match only counts when it works in both directions, which is why a conversation on GoSwap starts warmer than one on any classifieds site: the person on the other end already wants what you're offering.

A listing takes three fields
Title, price, description — that's all it takes to go live. Already have your asset listed somewhere else? Paste the URL and we'll import those details for you.
When you're ready, expand your listing with photos, specs, location, swap preferences, and dozens of category-specific fields — the more you add, the better our algorithms can match you.
From first match to Letter of Intent
Most marketplaces hand you a contact form and wish you luck. GoSwap stays with you through the whole negotiation — all the way to a written LOI.

Tell us what you have and what you want. Our matching algorithms compare your listing against everyone else's — in both directions — and surface the swaps where each side has what the other is looking for.
Message directly
Talk to the other owner right on the platform. Ask questions, share details, and figure out whether the trade makes sense before anyone commits to anything.
Send a swap proposal
When you're ready, send a structured proposal: your asset for theirs, plus any cash difference or extra terms. The other side can accept, decline, or counter.
Put it in writing with an LOI
Once you've agreed on terms, we walk you through preparing a Letter of Intent that captures the deal — so both parties arrive at closing with the same understanding. From there, you complete the exchange with the professionals you choose, like a title company, escrow agent, or attorney.
